Dr. Tim Osbon

Medical Director

EDUCATION 


Dr. Osbon was born in Greer, SC. He attended Wofford College and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and was enrolled in the ROTC. In that program, he successfully completed Airborne School and went to receive a US Army Commission in the Medical Service Corps. While on active duty, he enrolled in the graduate program at The Johns Hopkins University and received a Master's degree in biotechnology and genetics. He then was accepted to the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his MD in 2002.

 

MEDICAL BACKGROUND 


Dr. Osbon has wide-ranging interest in medicine that include hyperbaric and dive medicine, wound care, wilderness medicine, ketamine and IV hydration. Interestingly, Dr. Osbon has been learning about medical treatment for men since childhood as his grandfather, Geddings D. Osbon, was the pioneer of non-invasive erectile dysfunction management and founded Osbon Medical Systems in the 1970s. 

 

HOBBIES 


Dr. Osbon is immensely blessed to live in the Lowcountry with his two children and avidly enjoys the maritime traditions of sailing, fishing, and shrimping that characterize this wonderful part of the planet as well as the rich cultural and historical resources for which Charleston is known.
